About Pokemon TCG National Championships
National Championships represent the highest level of competitive play for most players. National Championships are run at the highest rules enforcement and usually have the best players from the entire country competing to win the title
of National Champion.
Players who win National Championships receive both and invite and travel award to the World Championships. National Championships for the time being are open events, though this may change in future. National Championships are run independently of stores. Therefore no store, will ever qualify for a National Championship. However stores are able to have stands at the Nationals venue, for a small fee.
Though no store will ever run a National Championship, it is expected that all stores advertise the location and date to their local player base.
