“Aardman Signs Tomy for Canimals Toys
Aardman Rights has signed Tomy as the European Master toy partner for Canimals, on behalf of VOOZClub. Tomy will produce and distribute toy and gift lines including plush, toy figures, electronics, arts and crafts for the U.K., France, Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as capsule toys for all of Europe.
“Canimals is a highly innovative and fun series that will really capture the imagination of girls and boys,” says Paul Fogarty, director of European sales and marketing for Tomy. “With our proven track record in the girls and collectibles markets we are looking forward to emulating that innovation and fun within our product ranges.”
Canimals is a coproduction from VOOZClub, BRB International and Aardman featuring a collection of super-cute, can-shaped animals that live unnoticed among us, hiding themselves in plain sight as cans.”
