Remember the first handheld Moshi Monsters game, ‘Moshling Zoo’?
It was the first NDS Moshi Monsters game created and stayed No.1 on the Nintendo DS charts for 5 whole months.
Now Mind Candy, creators of Moshi Monsters, and Activision have announced their second Moshi Monsters game, ‘Moshling Theme Park’!
Mind Candy and Activision Publishing have announced the upcoming release of “Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park,” the second title in the Moshi Monsters video game series. The title will be available this fall.
“Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park” will introduce new tech features that allow players to interact with one another and debut a new Moshling who can transfer across platforms to the online world.
The game will also connect fans across the online and handheld platforms, with exclusive codes and promotions designed to increase engagement.
The first Moshi Monsters video game, “Moshling Zoo,” was released in 2011. It is one of only seven third-party games to ever top the U.K. charts, and is the only one to hold the No. 1 spot on Nintendo DS charts for five months.
“We look forward to working with Activision to build continued success for the Moshi Monsters brand and to bring new gaming experiences for our millions of fans to enjoy,” says Michael Acton Smith, chief executive officer, Mind Candy and Moshi Monsters creator.
Mind Candy will be presenting Moshi Monsters in booth 4178 at Licensing Expo June 12-14 in Las Vegas, Nev.
